GENERAL INFORMATION


Bienvenue ! 
Alliance Française de Philadelphie offers French classes all year round.  We have four 10-week sessions per year during fall, winter, spring, & summer.

Our general French classes meet once a week for 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on class size. The level of classes ranges from A1 to C1. We limit the number of students in our classes to 8 students maximum. 

We currently offer online and in-person classes, taught by highly qualified French instructors.

PRICING

GENERAL ADULT CLASSES

$360.00
 for a 10-week session (material not included) - price of course materials depends on course level.

Enrollment is contingent upon advanced payment for course and materials. To be eligible for a refund, students must contact the office at least 24 hours before the first class. After the first class, only a credit for the next session will be issued (a $30.00 cancellation fee plus $35.00 per class is retained by the Alliance Française).

No credit is issued after the end of the 3rd week of classes.

SPECIALIZED CLASSES

This summer, two specialized courses invite you to explore the richness of medieval imagination and architectural heritage. Whether you're passionate about literature, history, or cultural heritage, these courses offer a unique opportunity to dive deeper into the many faces of France. 


Travel through time with France’s most iconic castles, from medieval fortresses to baroque masterpieces.
Discover the evolution of French architecture and history across regions, and present your favorite style in the final class.

Step into the legendary world of King Arthur and his knights
, guided by medieval texts and their modern adaptations—from Kaamelott to The Green Knight. This course offers a literary and cultural exploration of chivalry, fantasy, and the enduring power of myth.
