In-person courses are offered each session. Adult in-person classes meet during weekdays, and in-person children's classes meet on Saturdays.
What is an in-person class? A gathering of the course instructor and students in a consistent location such as the offices of Alliance Française de Philadelphie. Courses in this format follow a set curriculum.
How does it work? Alliance Francaise de Philadelphie is based in Center City Philadelphia. We also offer some courses in Bryn Mawr and in the Lehigh Valley. Students meet weekly for either 1.5 or 2 hours depending on class size.
What do I need? A copy of the textbook used in your couse, a notebook, and a pen or pencil. You're welcome to bring a bottle of water if you wish.
What is an online class? An online class is a live video conference with your instructor and fellow students that will follow the usual format and syllabus.
How does it work? Alliance Francaise de Philadelphie is using Zoom for all virtual classes.
