Through the relationship between the poet Rodolfo and the fragile Mimi, Giacomo Puccini delivers a deeply moving story and some of his most beautiful operatic pages.Director Claus Guth situates their broken romance in space, creating a universe in which the past resurfaces in the form of hallucinatory flashes.

Alliance Française de Philadelphie event tickets are generally non-refundable upon purchase. Only a credit will be offered if canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Alliance Française de Philadelphie reserves the right to cancel an event. In cases of event cancellations by the Alliance Française, a refund will be given to all registered participants.
