2026 COMPETITION RULES

For whom?

This French language competition is intended for foreign students of the Alliances Françaises in the worldwide (at least level A2).

When ?

The test (duration: 2 hours) will take place on Wednesday, March 18, 2025 at 3.00pm Eastern Time

Where ?

In the premises of each participating Alliance Française, under the supervision of a teacher, and under the responsibility of the director of the Alliance.

The subject will be sent to the registered Alliances, who will photocopy a copy of the subject for each candidate.

Who grades the competition?

Teachers from the Alliance Française de Philadelphie will grade the first part (language exercises graded out of 60) in accordance with the answer key sent.

The director of each Alliance will send to DLF headquarters in Paris, by post or diplomatic bag, the 3 copies which will have obtained the best grades.

Final Results : Monday 15th June

First Prize:

A return Air France ticket for a week in Paris with seven nights in a hotel

For the 100 best work/paper, a Diploma certifying their knowledge in French

All participants will receive a certificate of completion.
