1974, 2h00, France
Longtime friends Vincent, François, and Paul—respectively a business owner, a doctor, and a writer, all in their fifties—meet up regularly
with others, including the young boxer Jean, to eat and drink, or to spend weekends in the countryside talking together. Each of them is, to
varying degrees, going through a rough patch in their romantic or professional life. Vincent, for instance—once the strongest among them—is
struggling to cope since his wife, Catherine, left him. He is also facing financial difficulties within his company. And it is precisely in
the wake of a sudden heart scare suffered by Vincent that everyone around him gradually comes to realize the relative insignificance of
their own personal troubles.
