AND Get ready for the Défi Inter Alliance 2026 !

  
Each year, the "DEFI Inter-Alliances" competition is organised by the participating Alliances Françaises (The Federation of Alliances Francaises USA), in collaboration with the Fondation des Alliances Françaises, headquartered in Paris.

Participants take part in a general knowledge quiz in French, about Francophone countries and culture (France, French Speaking Africa, Caribbean, Canada/Quebec)  hosted on the Kahoot digital platform. Participants must use two digital devices during the competition: one device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) to access Zoom for the virtual event, and a smartphone to answer the Kahoot quiz.

The Alliance Francaise de Philadelphie will organize, every other month, a Quiz in order for you to be ready in May for the local selection of the Défi InterAlliance.

This month we are going to Québec with 50 carefully selected questions about this francophone province of Canada, so near and yet so much to discover about its cultures and language.

You can join in person and test your knowledge on the big screen at the Alliance Francaise, enjoy some drinks and refreshments
OR
participate online via ZOOM from your own home.

Either way, you will play, learn and maybe win ! The winner of each session will receive a Gift card !
