Nancy, early summer... and Sophie, known as Fifi, 15, is stuck in her council house in a chaotic family atmosphere. When she happens to run into her old friend Jade, who is about to go on vacation, Fifi sneaks the keys to her pretty city center house, which has been deserted for the summer. As she settles in, she runs into Stéphane, 23, Jade's older brother, who has returned unexpectedly. Instead of chasing her away, Stéphane leaves the door open for her and allows her to come and take refuge there whenever she wants.
“A very good film tinged with poetic realism and a charm reminiscent of the psychology and atmosphere of Rohmer's films. Excellent actors, with a special mention for the film's two heroes... a cultural extension with the music of Schubert and the works of Kafka...Perhaps one of the gems of the year...Bravo for this film”
