JEN FELLMAN is a singer, actor and cabaret
performer living and working primarily in Philadelphia. She released her Debut Solo Album FORBIDDEN
DRIVE (through Broadway
Records Label &
Grammy nominated, 12-time Emmy winner, Producer Michael Croiter) with
sold out release concerts at Feinstein's/54
Below. Jen
has performed regularly at various NYC venues including Theatre Row, Don’t Tell Mama, the French Consulate of New York, and Chez Josephine.
She has lived and performed extensively in Paris, France. Venues include the American Embassy in Paris, the Petit Journal Montparnasse, and
the Comédie-Française Theatre. Jen has written two original one-woman shows, FRENCHY (Winner
Best One-Woman Musical - United Solo Theatre Festival NYC), and A
SINGER’S CIRCUS (Recipient
of the Jilline Ringle Solo Performance Grant Award, 1812 Productions). She plans to bring her newest solo show TOMBOY to
Philadelphia this fall. Lead musical roles include Clara (The
Light in the Piazza)
and Luisa (The
Fantasticks).
JOSE MENDEZ received his BM from the Bob Cole Conservatory at
Cal State Long Beach and then went on to study voice at Juilliard in New York City. While in NYC, Jose participated with the New York Grand
Opera Company under the direction of the late Maestro Vincenzo La Selva. While singing with NYGOC, Jose learned roles from operas by
Bellini, Donizetti, Mozart and Massenet. Here in Philly, Jose has been a proud member of the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus for a year and a
half. They are also a member of BROLO (PGMC’s Chamber Ensemble) and is a section leader for the Tenor Section. Jose is looking forward to a
busy summer and is preparing for a joint recital, taking place at the Philadelphia Ethical Society on Saturday September 20th at 7:30pm
