Presented on 35mm! Over a sweltering summer of friendship, crushes, and new experiences, three members of a teenage synchronized swimming team are drawn into an intense game of emotional chess as they discover the power and agony of desire. With precise, mesmerizing style, this provocative tale of adolescence and queer awakening announced Céline Sciamma (Portrait of a Lady on FirePetite Maman) as a major talent.

Bryn Mawr College professors Edwige Crucifix, French and Francophone Studies, and Julien Suaudeau, Director of Film Studies, will join us for a post-film conversation.

Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance, online, using the showtimes listed below the “Buy Tickets” heading. The Box Office is open for ticket sales 30 minutes prior to the first show of the day.

All screenings at BMFI are open seating.
