Months that Antoinette waits for summer and the promise of a week with her lover, Vladimir. But, at the last moment, he cancels: his wife has booked a family hike in the Cévennes with a donkey! Abandoned, Antoinette decides on the spur of the moment to set off on her own on the way to Stevenson. When she arrives, no Vladimir, but a certain Patrick - a recalcitrant donkey (nobody is perfect!) - who will accompany her on her singular journey...

Duration: 2h of screening + discussion time for the volunteers
Language : The movie will be in French with English subtitles. Discussion time will be both in French and English depending on what each person is most comfortable with ! We encourage exchanges of any kind.
Fee: Donation-based event : you can pay what you want ! Scroll down for Donation form. You can enter any amount ($0 to $1,000,000 !)
Registration: at least 48 hours prior to the event (depending on the number of places left)

You can either attend in-person at the AF Center City Location or ONLINE through a zoom link we will be providing. Our hybrid installation allow all participants to join the discussion, whether they choose to attend online or in-person.

All classes open upon enrollment. The Alliance Française de Philadelphie reserves the right to cancel classes and change teachers if necessary without advanced notice. Courses are typically canceled due to insufficient enrollment or unavailability of a teacher. If your course is canceled, you will be notified by telephone or email and given the option to transfer to another class, to receive a tuition credit, or to receive a full refund.

A class with only 3 to 4 students lasts 1.5 hours and a class with 5 students or more lasts 2 hours. If the class only has one or two students, the Alliance Française de Philadelphie may ask students to join a different group.

I understand that to be eligible for a refund, I must contact the office at least 24 hours before the first class. After the first class, only a credit for the next session will be issued (a $30.00 cancellation fee plus $37.50 per class is retained by the Alliance Francaise). No credit after the end of the 3rd week of classes.
