Join Eric Simonis for a brand new series of lectures with the Alliance Française de Philadelphie. In his upcoming talks, “Vie et tribulations des compositeurs français”, Eric invites us to discover the life, peaks and valleys of some famous French composer!

About Eric Simonis...


A native of Alsace-Lorraine, Eric settled in Philadelphia in 1990 and is a French lecturer. He is a member of The Napoleonic Historical Society and The American Friends of Lafayette and appears monthly at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia, where he leads “Le Cercle Francophone d’Histoire”, a group that combines love of the French language and of history.

Eric is now hosting the series of virtual conferences “Parlons Histoire” at the Alliance Française, and lectures about a variety of themes that define French culture, human and intellectual achievements.

In his upcoming talks, “Vie et tribulations des compositeurs français”, Eric invites us to discover the life, peaks and valleys of some famous French composers!
