Les petits loustics is a collection of textbook for young children who are just starting out to learn French. Based essentially on oral expression, this textbook is ideal for children who are not yet readers. Les Petits Loustics follows the adventures of a happy group of friends.
You can order the textbook from us when you register your child for class.

Each level includes a Student Book and a Workbook.

Content

intro & Beginner

Les petits loustics 1
Essential vocabulary and beginner language structures through engaging thematic units such as “Les jouets,” “Les vêtements,” and “Les aliments.” Children learn to recognize and name familiar items, simple verbs such as marcher, voler, nager and numbers (up to 6), colors (primary and secondary), and adjectives.

Higher Beginner

Les petits loustics 2
Deepens and expands the themes introduced at a beginner level. Children discover more vocabulary, learn to introduce themselves (“Tu t’appelles comment ?”, “J’habite avec…”), describe how they feel (“Je suis fatigué(e), en forme…”), how to locate objects and themselves, etc. Each unit ends with a short story to reinforce oral comprehension.
