In this immersive French-language workshop, native French instructor Gigi Kuhn will guide you through the fascinating lives and works of legendary artists such as Monet, Caillebotte, Degas, Seurat, Toulouse-Lautrec, Morisot, and more. Through interactive discussions and visual exploration, you’ll learn how to describe Impressionist masterpieces, while gaining meaningful insights into the cultural, social, and political forces that shaped one of the most influential art movements in French history.  Discover why Claude Monet remains the ultimate father of Impressionism.

Improve your pronunciation and gain confidence speaking French in this three-week phonetics workshop with prof. Gigi Kuhn. The workshop will explore French vowels, silent consonants, liaisons, as well as the prosody and musicality that give the language its distinctive rhythm and flow. Through guided listening, repetition, and speaking activities, participants will develop a more natural accent and greater ease in oral communication.

Learn to talk about your experiences and your plans with greater ease. This session focuses on describing simple past events and discussing future intentions through communicative activities. Grammar review includes the passé composé, common time expressions, the futur proche, and connectors such as puis, ensuite, parce que, and mais.
