Le TCF IRN est destiné à toute personne de plus de 16 ans souhaitant valider son niveau de français pour :
- une demande de nationalité française ;
- une demande de carte de résident de longue durée ;
- une validation du niveau A1 dans le cadre du parcours citoyen OFII.
For all people over the age of 16, wishing to attest to their level of French for the following reasons:
- a request for French nationality acquisition;
- a request for a long term residency card;
- to validate the A1 level for the OFII.
Your
certificate of “TCF Intégration, Résidence et Nationalité" is only valid to complete a request for French nationality acquisition
or the reasons listed above. You cannot use it for admission to a French university or to complete your request for emigration to Québec.

Speaking | 30 minutes (10 minutes effective interaction)
Listening | 15 minutes

The exam is programmed on 1 half day or 1 full day depending on the number of candidates.
It is not possible to change the time of your exam.
There will probably be some waiting time between some of your examination parts.

The Quebec Ministry of Immigration (MICC) has required people submitting applications to immigrate to Quebec to provide proof of their level of competency in French by taking the "TCF pour le Québec", or TCF test for Quebec.
Minimum level required : B2
The "TCF Québec" is comprised of 1 to 4 examinations.

Reading | 45 minutes | 1 point
Speaking | 12 minutes | 7 points
Writing | 60 minutes | 1 point
We strongly recommend that you prioritize taking Listening and Speaking
as they can earn you up to 14 points over 16.
The
exam is programmed on 1 half day or 1 full day depending on the number of candidates.
It is not possible to change the time of your exam.
